Downtown Charlotte Engagement | Sarah + Brad
The word gravitate as the dictionary would define it is the action of moving toward or being attracted to a place, person or thing. Sarah and Brad have been reunited time after time since they have met. They formed their relationship on friendship, and continued to gravitate towards one another as time went on to the fabulous couple they are today.
Their engagement story is what made me fall in love with two of them. After two years of long distance, and finally calling Charlotte home to both Sarah and Brad, he proposed on a beautiful Fall day in November at the Biltmore Estate. However, Sarah did't know the proposal was even occurring. Brad had asked a lady standing by to take a picture of the two of them in front of the Biltmore. He knelt down, so Sarah thought, to "fix" his shoes (I'm sorry... his Jordan's... he's kinda obsessed). She thought nothing of it (see as he does this quite often) until the lady holding their phone to take a photo started to gasping and pointing. Sarah, looked down, and to her surprise... Brad was proposing! Don't worry, his Jordan's were just fine too! :)
They decided on Downtown Charlotte as the spot to photograph their engagement session. First at Marshall Park, right across from where the two will wed next June at the Le Meridian. Then end the evening at the fabulous Romare Bearden Park, sharing a glass of chancy from the same winery the two were engaged at, the Biltmore.
Love them, and their cutey Omega... who was able to make a cameo in the first portion of the session ;) Cannot wait to work with Samie of Something Perfect next June at the Le Meridian, and see what she has in store for this fab wedding. And a huge shout out to the hair and makeup extraordinaire, Katie with Makeup You Face, who Sarah used for this engagement session! She was absolutely stunning :)
